Compose on a Blank Manuscript

Choose the note duration, then draw a small oval notehead or tap a line or space. Your mark snaps to a pitch and beat and becomes engraved notation. Stems, flags, ledger lines and beams are automatic. Use Add chord tone to stack pitches, Select to edit durations, and Erase to remove a note or chord.

This is guided note entry, not unrestricted music-handwriting recognition: drawing stems, clefs or whole phrases will not automatically interpret them. Pencil Pro squeeze and double-tap shortcuts are not implemented. Turn on Pencil only to avoid finger marks; switch to Pan / scroll to move around the page.

Music stays in this browser tab until you download it. Save a composition file to continue later; a PDF is for reading, not reopening as editable notation.
